Procurement Australia Members Lounge

  1. Members of Procurement Australia may make use of the Procurement Australia Member Lounge located at Level 18, 461 Bourke Street, Melbourne 3000.
  2. Members of Procurement Australia are its employees and employees of those entities currently using Procurement Australia contracts or as are otherwise designated as a member or Procurement Australia from time to time.
  3. Proof of identity or proof of membership may be required at any time.
  4. Members are eligible to gain entry into the 'Procurement Australia Member Lounge' during times when it is open for members.
  5. Procurement Australia Member Lounge access is available with one guest only, who must be at all times accompanied by a Procurement Australia member. Where appropriate a reference to Member in these Terms and Conditions includes a reference to that members guest (or guests) where applicable.
  6. Each Member is responsible for complying with, and ensuring that their lounge guests comply with, these Terms and Conditions of the Procurement Australia Members Lounge.
  7. Entry into the 'Procurement Australia Member Lounge' for any person (including Members) is at the sole and unfettered discretion of the Procurement Australia Member Lounge management and is subject to the Members Lounge not being full (as determined by Procurement Australia).
  8. Entry may not be provided for any reason including if it is full or at capacity as determined by Procurement Australia.
  9. Procurement Australia Member Lounge access is available with one guest only, who must be at all times accompanied by a Procurement Australia member.
  10. Should two guests or more be invited, members must book a small meeting room at a cost to the member.
  11. Members and their guests are eligible to access the area designated as the ‘Business Centre' which is the area dedicated for Members' use only, for business purposes.
  12. When using the Business Centre a charge may be applied for printing, faxing, scanning, copying or other services as determined by Procurement Australia from time to time. A limit may also apply to usage.
  13. Members and their guests are eligible to use the free WIFI, complimentary tea, coffee, fruit and use of daily newspapers.
  14. Members using the lounge computer facilities, the internet or meeting rooms assume responsibility for all loss, damage or consequences resulting directly or indirectly from such use. To the extent permitted by law, Procurement Australia shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered in respect of use of the Member Lounge or any of its facilities or rooms.
  15. No member may at any time bring any claim or otherwise against Procurement Australia for the unavailability of the Member Lounge, any facility, function or room that is ordinarily available to Members and fully releases Procurement Australia from all such claims.
  16. Members and their guest must be over 18 years of age.  
  17. Members and their guests must at all times be dressed in appropriate business attire. Business attire includes jacket and specifically no open toe shoes, shorts, caps and sporting attire.
  18. Offensive, drunken, lewd or otherwise unacceptable behaviour in any form, and for any duration, will not be tolerated at any time.
  19. Members may be asked to leave at any time and without reason.
  20. The Procurement Australia Members Lounge is entirely smoke free, including the use of 'e-cigarettes'.
  21. Members agree that they use the Members Lounge entirely at their own risk and that they will not bring a claim against Maps Group Pty Limited under any circumstances and for any reason and that they hold Maps Group Pty Limited harmless in respect of any claim and liability.
  22. Procurement Australia reserves the right at all times to vary the benefits, terms and conditions of the Procurement Australia Members Lounge, Flexible Business Spaces, Hot Desk and business facilities rules, and the benefits offered in any way including:
        a)    opening and closing hours;
        b)    applicable charges
        c)    varying aspects of the facilities including the types of refreshments that are available and the times during which they are available; and
        d)    imposing restrictions on the use of facilities, or services by a Member or group of Members as deemed by Procurement Australia from time to time.
  23. Bookings are required for members' use of Flexible Business Spaces and Hot Desks.

Flexible Business Spaces

  1. The Rules of the Business Lounge apply to the Flexible Business Space unless they are inconsistent with the Rules of the Flexible Business Spaces (in which case the Flexible Business Spaces rules will apply).
  2. Use of the Procurement Australia Flexible Business Spaces is subject to the Terms and Conditions of use.
  3. Bookings are required for use of the Flexible Business Spaces, and can be made via the online booking system, or via email flexiblebusinessspaces@procurementaustralia.com.au
  4. Bookings are subject to availability of the Flexible Business Spaces and bookings must be paid for in advance, along with any required security deposit in the form required by Procurement Australia.
  5. Long term rates are available upon negotiation, and are subject to availability.
  6. Proof of identity is required before bookings can be accepted.
  7. A Procurement Australia membership form must also be completed.
  8. Payment must be made prior to using the Flexible Business Spaces.
  9. Payment can be made via VISA and MasterCard – rental fees will be charged upfront.
  10. Tax invoices can be issued upon request.
  11. Catering is available for all purposes and requires pre-booking with a minimum 24 hours’ notice.
  12. All Flexible Business Spaces will be supplied with water and glasses.
  13. For an additional charge mail can be collected and the Flexible Business Spaces address used as a mailing address.

HOT DESKS

  1. The Rules of the Business Lounge and Flexible Business Space apply to the Hot Desks unless they are inconsistent with the Rules of the Hot Desks (in which case the Hot Desks rules will apply).
  2. Use of the Procurement Australia Hot Desks is subject to the Terms and Conditions of use.
  3. Bookings are required for use of Hot Desks and can be made via the online booking system, or email flexiblebusinessspaces@procurementaustralia.com.au
  4. Bookings are subject to availability of the Flexible Business Spaces.
  5. Hot Desks are available for use from a minimum of one full day rate.
  6. Long term rates are available by negotiation and are subject to availability.
  7. Hot Desks must be booked and paid for prior to use.
  8. Proof of identity is required before bookings can be accepted.
  9. Payment can be made via VISA and MasterCard – rental fees will be charged upfront
  10. Tax invoices can be issued on request.
